Idaho college sports roundup (Monday, Oct. 19): Boise State men’s golf starts 10th in fall finale

Senior Logan France shot an opening-round 69 with seven birdies, and he is tied for 26th after two rounds Monday at the Bill Cullum Invitational. France was tied for sixth at 3-under after 18 holes, but fell down the leaderboard after a 3-over 75 in the second round. Teammates Tristan Rohrbaugh and Kyle Mitsunaga (Boise High) are three shots behind him. Boise State collectively opened at 1-under and enters the final round at 8-over 584, 25 shots behind Loyola Marymount in the 16-team tournament.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE WOMEN’S GOLF: The Crusaders (+55, 343) are 10th in the 13-team Sonoma State Intercollegiate in Rohnert Park, Calif., 35 shots behind the host school.
