First baseman Jacob Bosiokovic and shortstop Garrett Hampson both started for the Northwest League on Tuesday as the Boise Hawks’ home circuit beat the Pioneer League 11-5 in the second cross-league all-star game.

Bosiokovic went 2-for-5 with an RBI and belted eight home runs in the home run derby, two short of qualifying for the finals.

Hampson went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base, and reliever Julian Fernandez retired the only two batters he faced in the ninth inning. Starting pitcher Javier Medina was also an all-star but did not enter Tuesday’s games.

The Hawks (19-25 overall, 3-3 second half) resume their league schedule Thursday at the Tri-City Dust Devils. They begin an eight-game homestand Tuesday.
