Triathlete Dan Stephens finished first in the men’s 50-54 age group at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship on Sunday. Stephens, who won his division at the Ironman 70.3 Boise in June, completed the race of a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and 13.1-mile run with a time of 4:35:16. Four other Boiseans competed in Austria, led by Harold Frobisher, who took 11th in the men’s 60-64 division (5:28:42). Margaret Hepworth was 12th in the women’s 50-54 division (5:44:22), Steve Hodges finished 26th in the men’s 65-69 age group (7:05:09) and Suzan Bresnahan Haynes took 71st in the women’s 35-39 division (5:43:21).
