Josh Gliege won the Pacific Northwest Junior Boys Amateur championship in Pendleton, Ore., on Friday.
Gliege earned an 8 and 7 decision over Roy Kang of North Vancouver, B.C. The second-seeded Gliege trailed Kang by one stroke after 12 holes, but he rebounded by winning nine of the next 14 holes.
He is entering his senior season at Eagle High, where he helped the Mustangs win two 5A state championships. Gliege has already committed to play at Texas A&M in 2016.
