Dust Devils drop Hawks in extra innings

Boise held the lead for seven innings before falling to Tri-City 4-3 in 10 innings late Wednesday night. The Hawks took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a Kevin Padlo sacrifice fly. Boise increased its lead to 3-0 in the top of the seventh on back-to-back RBI singles from Scott Burcham and Padlo. But the Dust Devils quickly responded with two runs in the bottom of the frame, taking advantage of three walks and two hit batters. They tied it up in the eighth, and grabbed the win in the 10th with a Justin Pacchioli walk-off double. Padlo extended his hitting streak to eight games, and with two RBIs he brought his season total to 36.
