Boise Hawks out-hit Emeralds, but lose fifth straight game

Brian Mundell went 3-for-4 and chipped in two RBIs, but Boise could not overcome an early deficit in a 6-3 loss to Eugene on Sunday.

The Emeralds scored four runs in the first inning off Hawks starting pitcher Ryan McCormick.

The Hawks (17-32) and Emeralds (23-26) meet again Monday night at Memorial Stadium. First pitch is 7:15 p.m.
