The eighth annual Summer BAM Jam is the largest 3-on-3 tournament in Idaho with about 1,100 players and 275 teams. Games in the Capitol Park area start in the streets at 8 a.m. both days. Center court is at the intersection of 6th and Bannock.
The highlight of Saturday’s schedule is the slam dunk and 3-point contests from 4 to 5 p.m. in front of the Capitol. On Sunday, championship games featuring men’s and women’s elite teams will start about 2:30 p.m. on center court.
More than 3,000 feet of temporary highway tape is being used to create courts on the streets.
