Boise Hawks fall to Hillsboro in return from All-Star break

In their first game back from the All-Star game, the Boise Hawks were defeated by the Hillsboro Hops 8-4 on Thursday night. Four Boise players had multi-hit games as the Hawks (17-29 NWL, 3-5 second half) outhit the Hops 10-8. Starter Logan Sawyer (2-4) took the loss, giving up six hits and six runs in four innings of work while striking out three and walking two. The teams face off again at 8:05 p.m. Friday.
