Boise State’s Andrade takes second in hurdles; Oregon wins men’s track title

Jordin Andrade was the runner-up in the men’s 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Ore., on Friday. The redshirt senior set a school record with a time of 49.24 seconds. David Elliott also earned first-team All-American honors for the Broncos by taking eighth in the 1,500 (3:55.86).

Oregon won the men’s championship for the second straight year.

The women conclude Saturday. Boise State will be represented by Marisa Howard in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 3:27 p.m. and Emma Bates and Tessa Murray in the 5,000 at 5 p.m.
