Idaho colleges roundup: College of Idaho track earns three All-American honors

Freshman Amy Pfaff took fifth in the women’s 1,500 meters (4 minutes, 33.90 seconds) at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday. Max Hampton finished fifth in the men’s 5,000 meters (15:11.91), and the women’s 4x400 relay team placed seventh (3:50.49).

NORTHWEST NAZARENE TRACK AND FIELD: Freshman Payton Lewis (Nampa Christian High) took fourth in men’s pole vault (16 feet, 10.75 inches) at the NCAA Division II National Championships in Allendale, Mich. Lewis’ performance earned him First Team All-American honors.
