Idaho colleges roundup: Border Clash track and field meet concludes

Boise State set four school records on the final day of the Border Clash at Dona Larsen Park on Saturday. Mackenzie Flannigan set records in the women’s 100 meters (11.57 seconds) for the Broncos. Jordin Andrade (men’s 400 hurdles (49.64), David Elliott (men’s 800, 1:49.97) and Allison Jeffries (women’s pole vault, 13 feet, 6.25 inches) also broke records for Boise State. The College of Idaho’s Hannah Lentz won the women’s triple jump with a school record of 37-8. Northwest Nazarene’s Chelsey Knott took third in the women’s 100 hurdles with a school record of 14.26.

BSU GOLF: Ty Travis (Eagle High) is tied for 14th after shooting a 1-under 70 on the second round of the Mountain West Championships in Tuscon, Ariz. The Broncos are in sixth place (13-over 581). UNLV leads the field at 19-under 549.

BSU SOFTBALL: The Broncos (12-38, 4-16 Mountain West) lost to New Mexico 7-5 in Albuquerque, N.M.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO BASEBALL: The Coyotes (33-25) extended their season with a 5-3 win over Corban in the elimination bracket of the NAIA West Grouping Tournament in Portland. The C of I advances to play Concordia at noon Sunday.
