Top-seeded Idaho lost its third straight game Monday night, falling to the Grizzlies 3-0 in Game 6 of their Pacific Division opening series.
Fourth-seeded Utah won the series 4-2 after outscoring Idaho 12-3 over the final three games.
Utah goalie Igor Bobkov stopped all 41 shots he faced Monday. Idaho generated chances all night, from Alex Belzile’s breakaway to a bad bounce that hopped Jefferson Dahl’s stick in front of an open net, but could not beat Bobkov.
The Grizzlies next play Colorado or Ontario, which go to a Game 7 on Tuesday night in California.
