Idaho and the Utah Grizzlies did it again Saturday night, with the Steelheads winning 5-4 in overtime to take a 2-1 lead in their best-of-seven Pacific Division opening series. Defenseman Patrick Cullity scored the game-winner 2:09 into overtime.
Idaho and Utah have played 16 hockey games this season, including the regular season, and 10 have been decided by one goal, including all three playoff games.
The Steelheads are the No. 1 seed, and own home-ice advantage, but had to play two of the first three games on the road because of scheduling issues with the Maverik Center in Utah. Games 4 and 5 are Friday and Saturday nights in Boise.
