Graham DeLaet is one shot off the lead after wrapping up his second round at the Houston Open on Friday.
DeLaet shot his second consecutive 67 and trails Phil Mickelson, who shot a 67 on Friday (after a 66 on Thursday) and has a one-shot lead going into the weekend. A victory at the Houston Open is the only way for DeLaet, a former Boise State golfer, to earn a spot in the Masters.
DeLaet made his debut at the Masters last year and missed the cut.
The Masters - the first major of the season - is next week.
