Boise State men's basketball moves to 8-2 with 79-60 win over Southern Utah

The Boise State men's basketball team improved to 8-2 with a 79-60 win over the Southern Utah Thunderbirds on Sunday.

Senior guard Derrick Marks scored 30 points for the Broncos, his sixth career game with 30 or more points, while sophomore forward James Webb III had 17 points and eight rebounds before fouling out late. It was the fifth straight game Webb had scored in double figures.

At the start of both halves, the Broncos' defense set the tone, holding the Thunderbirds to 2-of-11 shooting to start the game and 1-of-7 to start the second half. The Broncos led by double digits for the last 17 minutes, 43 seconds of the game.
