Boise State football's 2015 commitments had some strong games last week, especially those who play quarterback for their schools. Darrell Stewart, who likely will play safety for the Broncos, had a huge game, contributing four TDs in three different ways to give his school its first win. Damion Wright, expected to play defensive back, threw two TDs and ran for another. Brett Rypien, the Broncos' lone quarterback commit, threw four TDs, giving him 12 for the season.

— OL Garrett Larson, 6-4, 250, Fruitland HS
The Grizzlies (1-1) did not play this week. Fruitland plays at Baker (Ore.) on Friday.
— QB Brett Rypien, 6-2, 185, Shadle Park HS (Spokane, Wash.)
Threw for 338 yards on 28-of-46 passing with four touchdowns to one interception in a 36-24 win at Richland on Friday. In Shadle Park's 2-0 start, Rypien is 57-of-89 for 766 yards, with 12 TDs to three interceptions. He's also run for 75 yards. (NWPrepsNow.com)
— S Darrell Stewart, 6-1, 190, Nimitz HS (Houston)
After an 0-2 start, Stewart had himself a game to help Nimitz get its first win. In his team's 41-34 win over Worthing, Stewart was 4-of-12 passing for 70 yards with a TD, ran for 217 yards on 16 carries and scored two touchdowns, plus ran back an interception 70 yards for a touchdown with 11 seconds to play for the game-winning score. His TD runs covered 82 and 20 yards, and his TD pass was from 34 yards out with 5:55 to play to tie the game. (Chron.com)

West Mesquite defeated Red Oak 51-7 on Friday, but stats for Butler were not available.
— CB Ladarryl Blair, 6-0, 183, South Oak Cliff HS (Dallas)
Had two catches for 31 yards and ran five times for 2 yards in a 53-13 loss to DeSoto on Saturday. He has 11 catches for 147 yards with two TDs and has rushed 11 times for 36 yards this season. (DallasNews.com)
— DB Damion Wright, 6-1, 195, Bishop Mora Salesian (Los Angeles)
Completed 5-of-16 passes for 138 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Salesian's 56-12 win over View Park on Friday. Wright also ran for 50 yards and a touchdown in the win for the 2-1 Mustangs. He has completed 28-of-58 passes for 342 yards with five touchdowns and one interception, along with 12 rushes for 108 yards and a TD. (MaxPreps.com)

Leesburg suffered its first loss with a 34-28 setback on Friday against Mount Dora. Stats were not available for Jefferson, who had 15 catches for 239 yards and four TDs in his first two games.
— LB Drew Berger, 6-1, 220, Coeur d'Alene HS
Ran an interception back for the second straight game, this time a 70-yarder, in the Vikings' 31-8 win over Ferris (Wash.). He also added 13 rushing yards on two attempts and a 16-yard reception. He's run for 109 yards for the 3-0 Vikings. (CDAPress.com)

The Division I-A offensive lineman of the year in Nevada last year committed to Boise State last week. Faith Lutheran fell to 1-2 with a 25-13 loss to Clark on Friday.
