BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) -- Sean Reynolds hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning, leading the Clinton LumberKings to a 4-2 win over the Burlington Bees in the first game of a doubleheader on Wednesday.
The home run by Reynolds scored Demetrius Sims to tie the game 2-2.
The LumberKings took the lead for good in the fifth when Christopher Torres scored on an error.
Clinton right-hander Humberto Mejia (3-0) picked up the win after allowing two runs on just two hits over five innings. Opposing starter Jose Soriano (3-2) took the loss in the Midwest League game after he allowed three runs on just three hits over five innings.
