Boise Hawks offense comes up big in win over Spokane Indians

Steven Linkous and Ryan Metzler drove in three runs each, Ryan Luna threw six scoreless innings of relief and Boise scored the final 11 runs of the game on its way to a 11-4 win Thursday night in Northwest League action.

Linkous had three hits, Metzler finished with four and every member of the Hawks lineup got at least one hit.

Spokane jumped out to a 4-0 lead after three innings, but Boise tied the score with four runs in the fifth. The Hawks added three runs in the sixth, one in the seventh and three in eighth.

Boise and Spokane continue their series Friday.
