Getting there: Take I-84 and I-86 east to Pocatello; turn north on I-15 to Rexburg; take Idaho 33 to Driggs and then go east on Grand Targhee Road.

Runs: 72.

Lifts: Two high-speed quads, one fixed quad, one double chair and one magic carpet on the beginner slope.

Lift capacity: 6,840 people per hour.

Skiable acres: 2,400, and another 1,000 for cat skiing.

Vertical: 2,400 feet.

Slope difficulty: 10 percent beginner, 70 percent intermediate/advanced, 20 percent expert.

Top elevation: 10,000 feet.

Night skiing: No.

Snowmaking: At base only.

Longest run: 2.5 miles.

Average skiers per day: 800 to 1,000.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Daily lift ticket prices: Adult $57, juniors (6-14) $35, seniors (62 and up) $37, children younger than 5 are free with paid adult.

Specials: Bogus Basin season pass holders ski free when lodging at Grand Targhee. Also, discounts for multi-day passes.

Food price range: A new menu is in the works.

Equipment rental prices: Ski packages are $30 for adults and $19 for kids. Snowboard packages are $32 for adults and kids, $40 for high-performance snowboards and $40 for high-performance skis.

Locker access: Yes.

Cat skiing: Yes.

Terrain park: There are two, one designed for beginners and the other for more advanced riders.

Lessons: $69 for group lesson, lift ticket and equipment rental.

For children: Day care and lesson packages available.

Other activities: Tubing park, ice skating, sleigh ride dinners, dog sledding and Nordic skiing.
