Flooding of the Boise and Snake rivers has limited public access to the Fort Boise Wildlife Management Area near Parma. The road to the Snake River boat ramp is closed and many of the upland areas are under water.

“Folks planning to hunt the WMA during the early youth wild turkey season may want to make alternate plans,” WMA manager Tyler Archibald said in a press release. “The good news is, the wildlife viewing platform remains open.”

The viewing platform is used to watch the thousands of snow and greater white-fronted geese that migrate through the WMA.
