Personnel from Fish and Game’s Nampa Hatchery has released, or will release, the catchable-sized rainbow trout at the following locations:

Boise River — above Glenwood Bridge, May 4, 11; 1,440 each day.

Boise River — below Glenwood Bridge, May 4, 11; 720 each day.

Caldwell Pond No. 2, May 4; 500.

Cascade Reservoir, May 11, 18; 10,500 and 31,500.

Crooked River (Idaho City), May 25; 1,000.

Duff Lane Pond (Middleton), May 4; 225.

Eagle Island Park Pond, May 18; 450.

Eds Pond (Emmett), May 11; 200.

Grimes Creek (Idaho City), May 18; 1,000.

Heros Pond, (Meridian), May 11; 150.

The number of trout actually released may be altered by weather, water conditions, equipment problems or schedule changes. If delays occur, trout will be stocked when conditions become favorable.

General stream fishing season will open May 23, but some streams are open year-round. Check Idaho fishing regulations at fishandgame.idaho.gov.
