Wow! The Boise River is at 50 degrees, according to my super duper fishing thermometer.
That's still pretty chilly, but it has come up since last week's mid-40s. I took the temperature this morning (June 26) near the East ParkCenter Bridge.
The river is running around 1,500 cfs which produces a strong current and slightly faster water than lower summer flows around 800 to 1,000 cfs.
Floaters should be on their toes and keep in the main channel of the river and steer clear of brushy banks.
