I just hiked up to the hillside above Miller Gulch Trail in the Boise Foothills to see if the lupine are blooming in time for Mother's Day.
They are and it's a spectacular sight.
The wildflowers should still be vibrant on Sunday barring a freeze or windstorm.
The Miller Gulch Trailhead is about 10 minutes up Bogus Basin Road. There’s a restroom and plenty of parking at the trailhead to the right of the road.
