Fellow Idahoans, this is my first letter to the editor of the Statesman. I feel compelled to comment on the quality of the state legislators that are supposed to be representing us.
Each year they spend about 12 weeks sitting around thinking of ways to waste time, then go home and to get re-elected so they can continue their tenures. This year they had ample opportunities to help the citizens of this great state, yet they could not find it in their hearts to help people with health care needs but found time for concealed carry without a permit or required training.
It is about time we voters take action and elect legislators that will actually represent us instead of big business and special interests. We need to decide just what is important to us, not them.
This year get out and vote, show them who is the real boss — us.
