Otter signs HOA bill, aka, the Air B&B bill.
Otter says “common sense position in support of private property right.”
Baloney. Scenario one: you live quietly in a condo. The HOA only allows long-term rentals. Now you will have a stream of partygoers next door, different folks every night.
Scenario two: You live in a gated community, or PUD community, as Otter does, not allowing short-term rentals. Suddenly that beautiful house next door has become a party lodge. Different folks raising hell every night. Of course you must give the gate combo to all these partygoers.
Here comes a lawsuit Idaho taxpayers must pay for.
