Was up watching the “Today” show and a story was shown about exotic snakes loose in neighborhoods. One pet is missing and another tragic story was about a snake choking a child in a crib. So when is it going to stop? Whoever owns these exotic animals (especially poisonous ones) should be held liable for owning a “pet” that can kill pretty much any animal and humans. Of all of the “moronic” things I have ever heard, this tops the charts. Since I own cats and am a responsible pet owner, I make sure that they are well taken care of and out of harm’s way. You have no business owning an animal that can kill you and your precious animals. And to add insult to injury, the snakes are to be seen and not touched or used as a “pet,” no matter how safe you may think they are. Admire all of the animals from afar. You will end up safe, and not to mention your pets and loved ones also.
