Two things: First, I think Boise should change its name. We should call it Add-a-Lane, Idaho. It has a nice ring to it, I think. And it’s perfect for the continuing head-in-the-sand attitude that seems to prevail in the city. No long-term planning for the growth that is going to continue for the foreseeable future. No rapid transit, no train system, no decent bus system. Why doesn’t the city use minivans instead of those huge buses for which they are now building an underground turnaround? I’ve never seen more than one or two people on a bus anyway.
Second, why is there so much trash on our roads? What’s up with that? What is wrong with Boise drivers that they have to throw everything from cans and bottles to plastic bags, diapers and broken furniture? It’s disgusting. Take some pride in your community.
And since I’m on a rampage, stop talking on your phone while you drive. OK, that’s three things....
