Letter: Ag-gag law

The paranoid vision that some legislators hold regarding the Ag-gag ruling leaves out the most important component of this equation and that is me, the consumer. I consider those that provide me with my food source as an intimate relationship because I am trusting them to give me life sustaining nourishment. In other words, unlike one politician making a comparison to Planned Parenthood, as soon as I buy your product, we share a one on one relationship. I used to work in a job where I toured work sites and believe me if the operation was proud of how they did the job, they wanted people to come through. This is not a group sitting around a coffee table in someone’s home, having a private conversation, they are making a product they hope I will buy and I want to know how that product is made before I lay down my money.
