I am an alumni and my daughter earned her degree at Idaho State University. I am becoming ashamed about that now.
ISU receives funding from taxes and tuition from Idaho residents, most of whom not only hunt but support the rights of others to do so legally. I found it very offensive that ISU staff took it upon themselves to speak in the name of a state of Idaho department, distancing themselves from one of their employees because it was politically correct.
Those views do not represent the majority of Idaho’s citizens. We need to all write a letter to the governor or call him making a complaint and letting him know this is unacceptable. I am beseeching folks to not donate to an institution that is far removed from our values.
