I was at the Basque dancing at Expo Idaho on Saturday, Aug. 1.
I parked in the handicap area. My car was tagged with the Idaho Parking Permit. I removed my electric scooter from the carrier that was attached to the back of my car.
It was 10 a.m. when I left the car and I returned to the car at 2:30 p.m. When I returned to the car my carrier was gone, some person or persons removed the carrier from the car and took off with it.
The person or persons that took the carrier caused a real inconvenience to me. A stranger helped me unload the back of the car and put the items on the back seat. He helped load the scooter in the back of the car. Had it not been for his help, I would have been up a creek without a paddle.

The person or persons didn’t think nor did they care about a handicap person. They may have a handicap some day and will remember the day when they took the carrier. I also learned a lesson. Lock it on with a chain when you buy a new carrier.
