In regard to the recent no-knock raid made by the Boise Police Department on the wrong address where weapons were drawn and a flash bang was used in their search for a criminal ... I’d say those people were lucky that the flash bang didn’t land on them or their dog or kid, family heirloom, pile of newspapers, etc. In my career as a nurse, I probably went to over 100 houses at addresses I’d never been to before in a radius of 50 miles. Never once did I go to the wrong address and bang on the door believing I had the right address. Their investigative techniques are lacking. That they are apologetic is good, and paying for repairs, better, but it does not make up for incompetency combined with the use of weapons.
