Letter: Movie theaters

With this rash of tragic and senseless movie theater shootings that will only increase with copycats or terrorists, I wonder if it’s time to bring back a nostalgic icon of American pop culture, the Drive-In.

Would it be relatively safer watching your favorite flick from the comfort of your car instead of packed like sardines in a dark room not knowing if the person next to you is insane and armed? Not all indoor theaters can afford security guards and metal detectors.
