Usually I write a complaint to the Letters to the Editor, but today I want to thank the city of Boise for renting goats that have been helping cut down on fire hazards. The goats and guard dogs are working animals that help humans in controlling the grass fire risk. The animals are wonderful to watch, too. The sounds the goats make are reminiscent of the sheep I remember growing up on a farm in Ohio.
Again, thank you, Boise, for hiring the goat rental contractor. It is a very quiet and natural way to deal with environmental issues.
