It looks like the Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office really dropped the ball in the investigation for the missing 2-year-old. The first big mistake they made was not issuing an Amber Alert wherein vehicles leaving the area could have been stopped and searched and perhaps have found this child. The second mistake they made was to suspend the search the day after the child went missing. Since so much time has lapsed since he went missing, he’s probably in another state now, and the chances of finding him grow slimmer each day. My heart breaks for this family. Has the sheriff’s office offered any reasonable explanation for not issuing an Amber Alert when this child first went missing?
