Reading your pro and con editorials about putting the picture of a woman on the $10 or $20 bill on June 28 prompts me to offer my solution. Let’s print half of them with the currently used picture of a man and the other half with a picture of a prominent woman from our history. Since women make up half the population, it seems only fair that they should get half the honor of being displayed on our money.
I think a dual-picture mode for our money, at least for the most common bills between $1 and $100, would go a long way to improve the status of women in our society.
