Your editorial on CWI’s plans to expand into Boise was very well done and addresses a problem, which has been typical of CWI’s history. Having been one of the Founding Trustees, we made a lot of mistakes, but learned from them and the outcomes were successful. In that regard, my opinion is the current problem is poor communication, or lack thereof, which gives our opponents an opportunity to express themselves. Fortunately we had a lot of supporters that realized the need for workforce training and education in Treasure Valley or there would not be a CWI. That need is going to grow and expansion is the future. It is the trustees’ job to help make that happen. But remember they are volunteers dedicated to the cause, not politicians.
