Regarding Ag-Gag: Two and a half years ago I watched a mobile butcher process two steers in Garden City. The butchers weren’t good enough shots to take down the animals with one shot, so the processing began while the steers were alive. Wish I had kept my photos. These animals weren’t going to end up in a grocery store, but it was enough for me to back off buying much beef. I eat beef maybe twice a month, and when I do buy beef, it’s Kosher.
