Letter: Religious freedom

I was raised a Unitarian. As children we were exposed to all the religions in St. Paul, Minn. We went to them to learn, not bow, not participate in any way. Try it, state senators, you might just learn something. Oh, and while you’re at it, I understand there was a bill floating around that would allow corporations to pay to have their names on state parks, benches, etc. I agree, there should be names on all the parks, benches, picnic tables etc. However, I think rather than corporations’ names on them, the names should be of those servicemen and women who have given their lives in defense of this country. Your choice ... those who pay for your re-election or those who pay with their lives for your freedom. As I said, your choice.
