The Glenbrook Apartments on Curtis Road in Boise have provided affordable housing to low-income citizens of our community. Mark and Caran Daly, owners of the apartment complex, are forcing current residents to move so that the apartments can be converted to unaffordable housing. I am devastated about the impact of the Dalys’ decision on the residents of Glenbrook Apartments. How can our community allow such action against our fellow citizens? How is this good for our community? Reporting in The Idaho Statesman indicates that our community seems to have submitted to the god of making money. Is this what we are about?
