The Hill Road and 36th Street intersection is to undergo extensive construction to install an oddly shaped roundabout. This will probably take at least a year. This will result in over 200 more vehicles using the Collister and State Street intersection twice a day. Collister and State Street is already a problem even during noncommute times. There will be more traffic past Cynthia Mann Elementary School on Castle Drive and Pierce Park Elementary School at Castle Drive and Pierce Park Lane, as people try to avoid both these intersections. There are plans to fix Collister and State Street intersection after 36th and Hill Road is completed. Why not fix Collister and State first, before all the extra traffic is forced to use it? Guess that might be too logical.
