Japs letter: Watch for wildlife

I was traveling south on Locust Grove Road on a Monday evening in May when I stopped to let a family of ducks cross the street. I then watched in horror as two drivers in the northbound lane drove right through mama duck and her babies. Thankfully the next vehicle stopped and the family was able to cross safely. This is yet another example of self-involved individuals who could not care less about others. A sad commentary on the depths society has sunk to.
