There’s a lot of ideas coming from the candidates for governor, but the best one is Raul Labrador’s plan to cut taxes. Calling it the “5-5-5 plan,” Labrador will cut Idaho’s sales, individual and corporate tax rates to 5 percent each. This is the biggest tax cut being proposed by any of the candidates. And when Labrador makes a promise, you can take it the bank. He’s not like Tommy Ahlquist, who promised to cut $100 million from the state budget, and then flip-flopped a few weeks later. With Raul Labrador, you know where he stands, and that’s exciting for Idaho’s economy.
