One thing I appreciate about Brad Little is that he’s not making any pie-in-the-sky claims about what he’s going to do as governor. After all, he’s served in both the legislative and executive branches of government, and in his private life he’s been both a businessman and a rancher, and he knows there are limitations on the executive power in Idaho. What Brad Little promises instead is to work with locally-elected legislators to reduce state regulation, shift control where possible to local boards and commissions, and beef up state support in our most critical area, public education. That combination of vision and practicality is why I’m supporting Brad Little for governor in the May Republican primary.
