Dewey letter: Media, Trump

According to a Pew Research study only 5 percent of news coverage (including Fox News) of Trump was positive, which is five times worse than even Bush received.

This unprecedented attack by the media, Hollywood, politicians and billionaires have had an effect that would have destroyed any other politician that had to deal with it.

The fact that Trump has been able to keep his base while making changes that has produced a record-breaking economy, low unemployment and a tax revision that will benefit the whole country, despite apocalyptic attacks is an amazing thing. He reminds me of the hero played by Bruce Willis in “Die Hard” where he tells the established authority, “If you’re not a part of the solution, you’re a part of the problem.”

The attack dog media has been a part of the problem doing everything possible to portray the most innovative president in recent memory as being unstable and supporting the lie that he only won the election because of collusion with Russia, making positive relations with them extremely difficult. This is very damaging as Russia could be a great help in dealing with North Korea and other trouble spots.
