Temperatures will slowly climb up into the high 90s over the weekend, according to Les Colin, meteorologist for the National Weather Service.
No rain is predicted in the area for the next week, and winds will be light to nonexistent, Colin said.
“It’ll be just getting a little warmer the next couple of days: no significant wind and no precipitation,” he said.
The high Friday is expected to be 91 degrees. On Saturday that will go up to a predicted high of 95 degrees, and on Sunday the expected high is 97 degrees, Colin said.
