For the Treasure Valley: highs in the mid-60s, 70 by Sunday

Treasure Valley temperatures are expected to remain in the 60s throughout this week but return to the 70s — barely — on Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.

The high in Boise Monday was 63 degrees, and highs are expected to linger in the mid-60s through Wednesday before gradually increasing, according to the forecast as of Monday evening.

Thursday and Friday are expected to be sunny, with highs of 68 and 69, respectively, the Weather Service reports, with a small cool-off to land Saturday’s high at 66 degrees. On Sunday, the afternoon high is forecast at 70 degrees.

Overnight lows this week will be in the high 30s and low 40s. Low-lying areas, like Eagle near the river, are still vulnerable to overnight frost.
