Idaho could see precipitation off and on through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Boise got hit by a thunderstorm early Thursday morning, and residents can expect another thunderstorm in the afternoon, said Joel Tannenholz, meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Since the high Thursday will be around 52 degrees, drivers likely won’t have to deal with icy roads, but commuters will still want to take it easy on their way to work to avoid hydroplaning.
Friday could see a slight chance of rain, and Saturday will likely just see clouds. But Sunday could see another slight chance of rain.

Temperatures this week are only expected to dip down to freezing Saturday night when the low is predicted to be 32 degrees. Otherwise, even though systems will be pushing through regularly, the temperatures are expected to remain in the high 40s and low 50s, Tannenholz said.
