The National Weather Service says there’s a 70 percent chance of showers in the Boise area on Monday with a high around 46.
There’s a possibility of a light rain and snow mix Monday night, with a low of 32.
Tuesday will be sunnier, with a high near 44.
There’s a chance of rain and snow showers after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Veterans Day. Highs will be around 43. New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch is possible in the Valley.
If there is snow, it would be ahead of schedule for the Treasure Valley. The average date for the first snow of the year is Nov. 22, meteorologist Josh Smith said Sunday.
The surrounding mountains could see some accumulation over the next couple of days. Bogus Basin can expect about 5 inches between Monday and Tuesday, Smith said.
Thursday and Friday should be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-40s.
