Treasure Valley residents can expect some ups and downs in the temperature over the next few days, according to the National Weather Service.
Thursday will see a high of 59 degrees and a low of 39 degrees. Friday will be mostly sunny with a high nearing 70 degrees, but Saturday will be cooler, hitting a high of 60 degrees and with chances of rain.
"Saturday is going to be the wettest day and Sunday it will warm up," said Dave Groenert, meteorologist with the National Weather Service's Boise office.
Sunday and Monday should be dry and warm. Sunday will see temperatures in the mid-60s and Monday will see temperatures in the 70s. But, Tuesday will see a dramatic cool-down with temperatures getting into the low 50s. Snow could fall at around 3,500 feet, Groenert said.
The fluctuating temperatures and sporadic rainy days are typical spring weather, Groenert said.
