Civil rights group picks up on Idaho anti-refugee protests

The Southern Poverty Law Center has picked up on Islamophobic activities in Idaho aimed at opposing refugee resettlement programs in Boise and Twin Falls.

The latest protest in Boise Sunday, staged by the group 3% of Idaho, was met by a counter-protest in support of the refugee programs organized by the Interfaith Alliance of Idaho.

Headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, SPLC works on behalf of civil rights and tracks hate and extremist groups. You can read its Idaho story here.
